
Help us bring Bendigo’s first Gastronomy Festival to life!
In 2019 Bendigo was designated Australia’s first UNESCO Creative City and Region of Gastronomy. Our gastronomy story is about growing, sourcing, cooking and sharing food. It is about how our culture and heritage is represented and shared through what we eat and drink, the places we share meals and the memories we make around food, family and community. We are now looking at sharing our gastronomy story further afield. We want visitors to experience the unique and delicious offerings we get to enjoy every day.
The City of Greater Bendigo, as Australia’s first UNESCO Creative City and Region of Gastronomy, is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified event organisers to develop a major Gastronomy Festival for the region from 2026 and beyond. The EOI also includes the development of a smaller gastronomy event in 2025.
Interested applicants must register and submit their proposal through Council’s Vendor Panel marketplace by Monday 7th April, 2025. If you are not registered on Vendor Panel, please apply via button below:
