Dear member,
The City of Greater Bendigo would like to extend their Employee assistance program (EAP) to Bendigo Tourism Members so you can all access free confidential counselling, coaching and support during the current COVID-19 pandemic
If you are struggling with any aspect of life right now, or the contemplation of returning to a new working arrangement, you can always speak to one of Converge’s skilled counsellors who can assist with this transition.
How does EAP Counselling work?
The EAP service involves you speaking with an EAP Counsellor over the telephone or via the internet (face to face sessions currently not available) . Support is available 24 hours, 7 days per week year round. Scheduled appointments generally occur during business hours. After hours there is access to telephone counselling and emergency support. For more information click here.
What happens during Counselling?
Your first session with an EAP Counsellor generally lasts about one hour. During this time you will talk about the key issues that brought you to counselling
Why talk with an EAP Counsellor?
Talking with a counsellor can help you to identify and resolve issues that may be causing you difficulty. It is possible you may be feeling stressed or overwhelmed with work or personal commitments and sometimes it is hard to know what to do or who to talk to, particularly about concerns you would like to keep private.
How many sessions can I access?
You are able to access 3 counselling sessions per issue
